"something wasn't right"
this shot is becomng increasingly stinky. Evan Thomas of Newsweek is on CSPAN and that was the extent of the answer to a caller's question about the exit polls. He explained that the bush team analysed the numbers and "something wasn't right". Well what the hell was it Evan?

1. Why are the exit polls that "moral values" drove the election valid...
but the exit polls that KERRY WON are not?

2. Election Day, I saw Jeff Greenfield discussing exit polls with Schneider..
Edited on Thu Nov-04-04 08:41 PM by Gloria
He was going on about how the Repugs were complaining that the news people were talking favorably about them in terms of Kerry...That they (the Repugs were worried that their supporters would be "upset" hearing this sort of thing. (The word UPSET was actually used.) Greenfield and Blitzer stressed that they never used the candidates' names. Greenfield said that "there will be hell to pay" over this....

It really struck me that these guys were being pressured by the GOP and Greenfield said it openly.

3. I'm glad that the "bush team analyzed the numbers"
Of course, the fact that they were the ones doing the analyzing is the "something" that wasn't right hasn't been mentioned.
