Then it went to F9/11 and Al called out Anne to give just one refutation of the facts

was your typical MSM shouting match.
Pat Buchanen is, of course, spinning as if Coulter did make a refutation...gagorama.

instead he asked Ann if she wanted to go loot Manhattan.

Why couldn't he just state some stats about how much money had been dispensed and that the GAO concluded it had been wasted and that a fortune has gone missing, that there was plenty of money for the troops to have what they needed all along but that money wasn't spent on their safety. They are using the military complaints in order to mount an argument that MORE money needs to go to "the troops", without explaining what happened to the rest of it that was already appropriated. And he might have then been able to shoot holes in Rumsfeld's assinine argument about "production problems".

I wish Mike had spoken instead. It's almost as though they knew Mike would be tougher for Ann to go up against and so they stuck Al in there as some kind of a buffer but at times he came across at best as comic relief and at worst an egotist.

I was impressed w/ R's performance the other night, so don't take this as a knock, but just an observation. Al is a fairly centerist-progressive Democrat.
