FRAUD!

Can we get some brainstorming on this... we can run it on the web 1st, like the jibjab videos... ppl will see! it has to be factual and historical and let them know THEIR democracy is in danger! It should focus on voting not Kerry/Bush! Show clips of the Senators that spoke about the Ukraine.. they say everything we want, just they are talking about the wrong country. Maybe even some of us are near each other and can get together.. this will be a real world fight! We should use the net to get people out of there homes... we have a greater audience than any MSM!!!!

perhaps someone has done this kinda work before... we all can help with text and images!

4. Let's throw a few ideas up the flagpole!

If y'all are fixin' to appeal to the red state voters with an ad focused on fundamental fairness in elections and patriotism, I'd suggest an abundance of half-naked women, fast cars, beer and guns. I would also include a catchy country tune like Toby Keith's "Boot in their ass" song. Red staters love that ol' timey, ass whoopin' country singing. Maybe Toby will come on board and put a "Boot in the ass of voting fraud" song together for the effort.

If we try to appeal to our red state brethren using fear as our primary motivator, I would suggest that we go after their guns, porn and beer. Their ain't a president born yet that could stand between red staters and their entertainment. If we could tie Bush to a conspiracy that was aiming to screw with these things, we would win this fight in a minute. I would go with a Charlie Daniels rewrite of the song "The Devil(Bush) Went Down To Georgia (To Take Your Guns, Beer, Porn)" background music theme.

If we are trying to appeal to red state intellect, I would again suggest the half naked women, fast cars, beer and guns.

Votergate.tv is also working on another documentary.

As far as an actual ad, it would cost a lot to run it. But it is a good idea.

12. What about buying space for an Ad/Letter

Adressing how our Democracy has been Compromised? Addressing the fact that we are deeply concerned that tens of thousands of people were disenfranchised. That elected officials aren't taking our concerns to the heart of the matter -- that we must investigate and know quickly what really happened election day. That we have invaded a country to "free" them and show them the way to democracy, yet in our long lines in Ohio sick and elderly people were not allowed to the front of the line, and many left without voting because the conditions were not humane.

(I just went on a rant there, it's not exactly what I would suggest would be in an ad/letter)

But, funny you should post this -- I was just thinking about something along these lines -- An Ad might be better than a Letter (more people might "read" it), but I've seen other groups do it (post a letter) to "bring home" a point.... 'course, the problem would probably be in the publishing.... What kind of money would we have for such a thing? That should be the first step, I would guess.

14. America Hates a Cheater

This ad concept is specifically aimed at psyching out the freepers.

Video:

Slideshow of famous people who are now infamous because they cheated. Key here is to pick people that freepers have a love/hate relationship with. At least one sports figure.

over the slideshow, one-liners fade in and out in white saying stuff like:

"Lost ballots"

"machine malfunctions"

... keep them generic, as though we are doing a non-partisan anti-evote ad. We want a surprise ending.

The last picture in the slide show:

Bush and Rove (nice and ambuguous)

Audio Component:

Voiceover, stuff like this:

"Democrat or Republican"

"Young or Old"

"White Collar or Blue"



(Try to avoid extremely partisan divisions here. Stick to stuff that freepers don't suffer from an -ism about, though a mild dislike is fine.)

..and then the last audio line after a perfect pause
