Lets play Blame the State
Okay this is one everyone can play. Which state do you live in and how is it responsible for loosing this election? For example, I live in California. We are responsible because we allowed a recall of our governor in 2002 that resulted in him going to OHIO and stumping for Bush which resulted in Bush winning Ohio.

Who is next?

1. I live in Ohio....
...we have a Repub Governor, House, Senate and Secretary of State who is also the co-chairman of the Re-Elect Bush Committee here in Ohio. People in Ohio believe that gay marriage is a bigger threat to their lives than unemployment, unjustified war, $2.10 per gallon gasoline, sky rocketing health care, etc. A state full of Buckeyes aka worthless nuts!

2. I'm in Texas and stupidity is a prized trait.
But, I have to agree, the Buckeyes have to be the most backward people in the world. They, at least, should know better. These Texans are just too braindead.

Ohio, you guys win the prize for the biggest dumbasses of the year.

3. Virginia: Bigotted asshats run the state
The population of Virginia KNOWS how bad Republicans are for government... we've gotten shafted continually by the State-level Republicans. But none of that matters, because of those gay people.

6. Georgia
You can thank Democratic Senator Zealous Miller for jumping on the Bush bandwagon, and crucifying the Kerry campaign, like a snake in the garden. Miller only galvanized all the moderate liberals in Georgia, and many in the south into voting for Bush. Thank you Miller you fucking, lying, traitor.

5. I live in Georgia
And we were responsible because we allowed a bunch of northern elitists to tell us we can't be "real" Democrats unless we admit we're all ignorant, toothless, redneck, inbred scum who need to be lectured about the "real world". Next time, we'll have a candidate who can reach out to everyone, not a miniorty of the country.

We voted the President's brother back in in 2002 so that he could take happy pictures in the hurricane-hit areas and help his brother disenfranchise thousands of voters.

But my county (Franklin) voted democratic. It's just wasn't enough to cancel out all those rural counties. But obviously, as a whole, OH is to blame for this. What a freaking backward state it is!:nuke:

By allowing them to put those F***ing machines in Democratic counties while allowing majority Republican counties to keep their optical scanners.

10. I live in Kansas...
... and I'm sure most of you have heard of "What's the Matter with Kansas" if you haven't read it.

To sum up, Kansas exemplifies the way rural populations have been brainwashed into voting against their own interests.

We have Ken Blackwell.

We have people who adore automatic weapons.

We have Gov. Taft.

We have right wing nuts who display photos of fetuses on the sides of their cars but support the death penalty.

We have trucks adorned with "Vote the Bible."

Losing 255,000 jobs wasn't enough for us. We want to lose some more jobs.

Our veterans don't mind losing their benefits.

We think increased college tuition at state schools is a good thing.

Blame us. Blame us. Blame us.

Supposedly still in play, but we have a democratic governor, lt. governor, AG and secretary of state.

Bernalillo county (ABQ) leans democrat. The county clerk there is democrat.

Yet when touch-screen machines start acting up, she doesn't see a problem with them until the 11th hour. People touching the screen for Kerry, with votes coming up for Bush.

That, and the court ruled to keep Nader on the ballot.

highly populated with Southern Baptists who are bigots and hypocrites. Although many here have lost there jobs and health insurance they still love bush 'cause he is a good ol boy. He lives on a farm and NASCAR likes him and he is going to protect their guns. He is a Christian and is going to protect the unborn and keep gays from marrying.

The northern transplants are outnumbered or have been assimilated.

Xenophobes by having a gay marriage amendment to our Constitution (the same constitution which has never been changed to remove the "no duels" language.) Then we continue to elect blithering idiots like Jim Bunning, and really scary money-maniacs like Mitch McConnell. We even have a Pug guv now, who although a former fighter pilot (shades of AWOL jr.), tried to get himself shot down in D.C. Need I say more? The list is much longer.
