Here are the communications, starting with the most recent - my answer to his obnoxious reply:
I'm sure you do believe that the dems will lose again and again - and they will as long as the fraud and civil rights violations continue to exist - in your state and others. Your citation of money is truly myopic. The important thing is to defend the voting rights and methods that our nation uses. Money should never be an obstacle to that endeavor. And no, it is not time to "move on". It is time to stand and fight this cancer eating at our electoral system. Your comment about "conspiracy theories" is truly laughable! Literally thousands of "irregularities" have come forward. I don't see you guys explaining ANY of them to the satisfaction of the experts in the field. This does not fit into the category of "conspiracy theory". These examples of "irregularities" are out in the open for all to see. Now, there needs to be investigations to determine WHY they happened, WHO is at fault for them happening, and HOW to prevent them in the future. So, no Mr. Chairperson, we are not "moving on".

If you'd like to lose again and again, recount the votes as many times as you'd like. The end result will not change. Even the Kerry campaign has conceded as much. What I'm opposed to is the $1.5 million tab that taxpayers will get just to tell you and all the other conspiracy theorists out there what everyone else already knows.
This election is over. John Kerry has conceded. Ohio's votes have been counted and certified by 88 bipartisan Ohio boards of elections. George W. Bush will get our 20 electoral votes. And it's time to move on.

How dare you criticize the Ohio Dems for supporting a recount in a state that was obviously used by the republican party to disenfranchise voters, lock-down voting counts, place machines in an effort to disenfranchise voters, use provisionals to disenfranchise voters, etc., etc.! While we understand and realize that the republican party - nationally - does not value the Constitution and would really rather that only Americans who support Bush (the Dictator) vote, the rest of us do not buy that philosophy.
Yes, recount the vote and expose every slimy dirty trick and fraud that you guys perpetrated. It is not about Kerry any more. It is about the survival of democracy. You, my friend, want to diminish democracy. The legitimacy of Bush has always been in question and will continue to be unless and until the "irregularities" are thoroughly investigated and it is proven to the American people - ALL of them - that Bush actually won. Right now, that is questionable. Now, there is an old saying that would apply in this situation with you - either Lead the effort for transparency, Follow the effort for transparency, or get the hell out of the way! We are going to push this until answers and REFORM are forthcoming. Even republican congressmen will ultimately be receptive because, unlike Dictator Bush, they WILL have to face re-election!
