UPDATED - NigelWrightWatch: Chasing the PM's new Chief of Staff through the Looking-Glass
So, as far as I can tell, it was in the pages of the National Post that the little-noticed, but intriguing claim that Nigel Wright's tenure at Langevin as the PM's next chief of staff would come with a built-in, if possibly self-imposed two year term limit first appeared the day after news of his appointment broke:

According to a note yesterday from Onex management, Mr. Wright is on ''temporary leave'' from the company. ''Nigel will start work in Ottawa at the end of October and will return to Onex in 18 to 24 months to resume his leadership of the Aerospace and Defense and Energy verticals,'' it said.

Simple little item in the news. Well, simple until one thinks about it.

This past summer, out of the blue, the government announces the purchase of fighter jets. No bids. Just out of the blue.

Also there are supposed to be Canadian companies that have received orders to supply portions of these jets? Or they would supply something?

Then this week we hear that this industry are bad mouthing the opposition about loosing contracts if the order doesn't go ahead?

Well just what companies have received orders and what companies are complaining about loosing orders.

Something smells fishy here.
