So now we have a huge deficit, but still no infrastructure.
I'm not usually a fan of Wente, but in this case she's dead-on.

We absolutely need infrastructure, it's been a major complaint for years, and it would certainly provide lots of jobs, so when the govt announced their 'stimulus' I thought we could solve 2 problems at once.

Apparently not.

Instead we got a bunch of piddly-ass projects that don't begin to solve anything, and a huge deficit to boot.
