Immigrating (Legally) to Canada from the States

The ole' Penguin's contemplated this for a while now, but, to be honest, it's become more of a desirable option for myself since 11/2...

Which brings me to this: How the devil can an 18 year old college student coming from less-than-wealthy (if you catch the drift) background immigrate legally to Canada. (And yes, I would like to finish up Higher Education too)...and no, I don't have family *or* friends living in one of the provinces.

5. Welcome...I've been here a couple weeks :-P..

I've started an (IMO-better) version of the thread over in General, that addresses some things I failed to bring up here originally...One of which that what's listed on the CIC site does me marginal good at best (Little money, just STARTING Higher Ed., etc etc)
