Supposedly, gasoline is at a five-month low.

Back then, a litre here was about 1.05, and today it's about 1.14. I'm seeing something like a one-month low.

What region are you in, and how does your gas price compare?

1. Actually came under 1.00$ in Ottawa
But labour day is coming so it's going back up, and it's probably going to stay up. This is just a little break so that the oil companies can say: "We don't keep the prices up artificially, just remember the other day, it went way down"

2. That's what's weird.
All the factors supporting forecasts for continued higher prices are still in effect: Mideast uncertainty, hurricane season, etc.

No one predicted this sudden drop. Just wish I could see some of it on the west coast.

3. It's just so they can point to this in the future to make themselves
look better while they jack up the price even more.

4. Down to 1.01.5 in Halifax...
That's way down from recent weeks, when it was up as high as $1.22 or thereabouts. We're supposedly regulated as to the max price, but that's been a total mess.

5. $0.67/litre in Burlington, ON
I read that in the Metro this morning.

I saw as low as $0.76 in Toronto on Wednesday evening. Unfortunately I waited until Thursday AM to fill up and paid $0.795.

Hasn't dropped at all from the last time I filled up (I fill up every 1-2 months).
I'm in Northern BC, Peace region.

7. OK Valley of BC here is 110.0 over the week
Down from 118.9, first time i've seen the zero at the end in forever. Lots at work today were talking about the non 'as usual' spike, i reminded them to refill before November 5th (if the Dems don't take over one houses).

This is all just to make us feel like we're lucky gas is going back near 1.00/litre. Rat bastards.
