Stupid American's CFL pick for Saturday, July 15
Hello, it's the first installment of the Stupid American CFL pick for week 5.

Betting on the total of the Montreal/Winnipeg game, July 15. Taking the under 52 points, wagering 2 units (110 to make 100 bucks). Winnipeg's number 1 defense (opps, defenCe) will handle the high scoring Montreal offence in this one.

Taking it to the bank, eh!

The Stupid American

1. Doesn't look good, Stupid....
or does it....Montreal 37, Winnipeg 16 with maybe 4 mins left....watching the game in French is educational for me!

2. I'm not too interested this year, though I do like the Alouettes.
Ottawa has once again been screwed ou of its team by the Gliebermans. Those asswipes should be barred from the fucking city! :grr:

3. Good guess...60 total
I would say educated...but you gotta have another try this weekend. ;-)

I figured when I read your prediction you were probably right...under 52 coz Montreal's defense is greater than the Blue Bombers offense.

But is it just me or do a lot of the CFL games this year seem a bit...sloppy. Lots of casual mistakes...especially in the BC vs. SK game the night before...they are not playing with any urgency, especially if the team has a lead.

Dunno...maybe not watching enough games.

Week 6

Jul 20, 7:00 pm ET @ Montreal (Thursday)
Hamilton: (1-4, 0-3 away)
Montreal: (4-0, 2-0 home)

Jul 20, 10:00 pm ET @ Edmonton (Thursday)
Winnipeg: (3-2, 1-1 away)
Edmonton: (2-2, 2-0 home)

Jul 21, 9:00 pm ET @ Calgary (Friday)
BC: (2-3, 0-2 away)
Calgary: (3-2, 2-0 home)

Jul 22, 7:00 pm ET @ Saskatchewan (Saturday)
Toronto: (1-3, 0-2 away)
Saskatchewan: (2-2, 1-1 home)

I think the only game that is a wild card is TO and SK match-up...could go either way as with the Winnipeg - Edmonton game The other ones Montreal and Calgary should win
