Milwaukee DU Meet-Up this Sunday night!!

So far, AllyCat, ralps, RetroLounge, and ClassWarrior are planning to attend Bread & Butter Jam 2. How about you??

The event stars some of Milwaukee's most talented music legends who are coming together to raise cash and food for the Hunger Task Force: favorite Brewtown songstress Robyn Pluer, Fred Bliffert of the legendary 60's band Freddy & the Freeloaders, and guitarist extraordinaire Peter Roller, as well as singers Jacque Conarchy and Dave Stoddard.

Join your Milwaukee-area DU friends from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30th at Long Wong’s Restaurant, 53rd and Blue Mound. And bring a non-perishable food item for a reduced cover charge.

He/She suggested name tags. I still have some Kerry/Edwards buttons. Or maybe if we wore blue paperclips. Maybe other people have some other suggestions.

It sure was a great evening. Lots of money and food raised for HTF, and lots of good music. MAN, can Robin Pluer sing!! Thanks for coming out, both of you. We'll have to have another get-together soon - and maybe RETRO can make it this time. I'd say ALLY too, but it's sounding like before long she'll have to travel from Madison...
