Kruisin for Kerry?

Somebody on another thread suggested a "convoy" for Kerry just before the election. I sort of riffed on that theme and will propose a Kruisin' for Kerry event for Monday night, Nov 1, at our County Dem meeting tomorrow night.

The plan is to get a whole bunch of cars with Kerry signs and streamers, American flags, etc., and drive through the City and some of the more populated neighborhoods making as much racket as we can. If the party approves it, we'll do some newspaper advertising and set the route. I have a "parade permit" application from the police department which is up to the chief to approve/disapprove.

Anybody else doing something like this?
