Will Gard's Mark Graul be the next indicted?
WASHINGTON (AP) A one-time top aide to former Oklahoma Rep. Ernest Istook pleaded guilty Monday to a conspiracy to defraud the House as part of the Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal.
John Albaugh admitted in federal court in Washington that he accepted meals and sports and concert tickets, along with other perks, from lobbyists in exchange for official favors.

Albaugh, 41, is the latest in a string of more than a dozen former government officials and lobbyists to plead guilty in the scandal involving members of Congress, their aides and Bush administration officials. He faces 18 to 24 months in prison, but that sentence could be reduced based on his continued cooperation with the government's investigation.

Mark Graul, the former Chief of Staff of Rep. Mark Green-R-WI, admitted to accepting sports tickets & gifts from Abramoff, after denying it. Only when the emails, showing his efforts to get more freebies, did he finally admit his wrongdoing.

John Gard, has hired Mark Graul as his campaign manager....any questions asked of Gard about this?

Has anyone actually seen Gard campaigning?

Graul is certainly not a high-quality ethical operative, and Gard is going to have serious problems of judgement by hiring this guy, knowing he was part of the Abramoff scandal.

1. Heh
I grew up with the Graul family. He was in my brothers class from K-11 and his brother was in my class from K-9.

I haven't seen either since high school but I chuckle every time I see his name. Mark was and remains a total fucking moran. Fun to watch his demise.

2. I see some great LTTE's coming out of this in the 8th CD
It would be a nice way to put Gard on the defensive - perhaps have to switch campaign managers mid-stream.

He thinks he is Rove's protege and goes with the dirty smears campaigns!

He is just no good!

4. Gard's quotes from past campaigns have to come out
His denials have to be spread around.

Like when he...
Denied Mark Green illegally transfered campaign money....only to be shot down at the Supreme Court. A $473,000 judgement error by GRaul.
Denied Annette Ziegler is anything unethical or wrong....only to have her admit her guilt. Something he probably knew all along.

Now that he's the denial machine behind John Gard....the judgement of Gard to pick Graul is a serious error.
Did Gard pick him, or was Mark Gren putting pressure on Gard? Did Biskupic promise a voter fraud case after Sept primary to help Gard?
Did Graul meet with 527's, like WMC & Amway's All Children Matter, to coordinate the soft money message?

John Gard chose Mark Graul. John Gards' judgement is seriously impared, as a result.

Keep the pressure on, using your local newspaper forums, and letters to editors.

Poke it with a stick!
