Bryan Kennedy hits homeruns on WPR

Bryan did really well today in his interview with Ben Merens. He laid out his positions on the important issues succinctly and slapped down the Kohlenberg shills who phoned in trying to trip him up. One of my favorites was the guy who insinuated that he must be lying about being on the school board in Maryland because he would have been only 17 years old on the date reported in the North Shore Herald. Bryan calmly explained that school boards in Maryland can have student members and he in fact had been one. Another caller wondered if Bryan could be pro-choice given his association with the Mormon church. Bryan again explained that members can form their own views on that subject and that he is indeed pro-choice.

Bryan pitched himself as very middle of the road and a strong proponent of middle-class families, which should have lots of appeal in this district.

By the way, didn't Gary leave the impression yesterday that his colleagues on the city council were supportive of him? Last night I found a Kennedy press release stating that two of the council members were endorsing Bryan. Does anyone have further information?

Who knows how many others support Gary? Could be none. Could be all the rest. If they do, he's not publicizing it -- I could find no references to endorsements on his site or through a Google search.

Unfortunately, I'll have to catch the Web archive when the Kennedy Q&A gets uploaded -- I wasn't near a radio at 5 today.
