he's appearing at WVU

You have to have a ticket to see him. 304-292-5081 for tickets, which are free. Repeat, you have to have a ticket to get in and tickets are free.

7. They are not available..........
from what I understand. Besides, I don't think I'd pass the "loyalty test" that they require to get in to see him.

What's worse is that I've heard they are cutting down some cool old trees especially for his visit. :grr: :grr: :grr:

8. They Better Keep Their Fucking Chainsaw At Home
If they cut down so much as a leaf out of that Circle (Woodburn Circle) the University will have seen its very last dime from theis Alumni and the other one that lives here as well.

Do you think that's far enough away for "dissenters" to be located?

12. They covered this on ABC news tonight
All about how the patriotic town of Morgantown was thrilled to welcome Bush, as was the rest of WV. Gack. If that's true, the town sure has changed since I last lived there in...well, never mind how long ago that was.

13. MSNBC Anchor Robach Implied Bush Protesters Unpatriotic
As noted on the weblog Daily Kos,

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/7/4/103658/4428

MSNBC Live anchor Amy Robach suggested that protesting President Bush's policies was unpatriotic. Following a live broadcast of President Bush's Independence Day address at West Virginia University, Robach told viewers, "There were a couple of protesters we heard with a few signs, but for the most part, looks like a very patriotic crowd."

Robach apparently does not believe that one can love one's country while opposing the current president. As The New York Times reported,

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/07/04/politics/04cnd-bush.html?ex=1278129600&en=77be0c1244bcd9cc&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss

many of the protesters did, in fact, explicitly state their support for the troops:
