No Escalation in Iraq! Rally @ the Bell Tower (Richmond, 2/22/07, 1pm)
From email, please spread the word!

"On Thursday, February 22, 2007, at 1 P.M. Americans Against Escalation in Iraq (AAEI) is holding a Rally at the Bell Tower on the campus of the State Capitol in Downtown Richmond, Virginia (off North Ninth Street).

This is the first of many events that we are planning to put Members of Virginia's Congressional delegation on notice and pressure them not to follow Bush's new roadmap to continued failure and tragic loss in Iraq.

AAEI is a coalition opposed to President Bush's plan to drastically raise troop levels in Iraq. This event is one of 300 being planned nationwide while Congress is in recess. Our national partners include: The Center for American Progress, Vote Vets, USAction, MoveOn.Org, Win Without War, The United States Student Association, and SEIU.

Press coverage is expected and your support will be greatly appreciated. The New York Times posted an article in today's edition:

For more information do not hesitate to contact me (adisamuse at yahoo dot com).

We look forward to seeing you Thursday at the Bell Tower!
