Slater: Karl Rove pins the blame for Bush White House troubles on others
Typical finger pointing just like "Bush the Stupid" did when he did the Katrina flyby. Karl taught him good.

Regrets? Karl Rove says he has a few.

Katrina for one, he told a Dallas audience Monday.

In particular, Rove said, he regrets having to deal with “dysfunctional Louisiana politicians” who botched the response to the hurricane and made the Bush administration look bad.

“Their mistakes became our mistakes,” he said.

Iraq, for another. Rove blamed Democrats for making an issue of the failure to find weapons of mass destruction, which the administration had claimed existed. Everybody thought Saddam Hussein had WMD, the former presidential adviser said.

The only good thing bush ever did was give Karl Rove a name that suited him well. :)

Firing Squad
There is nothing better than a circular political firing squad. Which Republicans hate Rove the most? Which Republicans does Rove hate the most? Any nude shower fights a la Emanuel and Massa?

A. Dana Milbank writes:
Rove definitely hates Tom Davis, and it appears to be mutual. But he's not about settling scores with Republicans in the book. Even mentions he took off his Teddy Roosevelt cufflinks once and gave them to a grateful John McCain. Of course, thanks to Glenn Beck, we now know TR was a communist, so obviously KR didn't want those cufflinks anyway.

You got that right. That's because they're all a bunch of liars talking out of their back ends.
