Is there a link to find out which counties are caucusing?
I'm in Dallas County. There was a caucus notice at the early voting location, so I naturally thought that my precinct/county would be caucusing. However, some people I know involved in the Dem. Party elections are having parties at their houses on March 4th, in my county, and they are unaware of any caucusing going on. I would think they would know if our county was caucusing.

Is there a link to find out exactly where caucusing will be going on? You don't think they post caucus notices throughout the state, even in locations that aren't caucusing, do you?

I'm confused!

1. Call the Dallas County Democratic party. They'll know. The caucus
is supposed to be at your regular polling place on March 4th.

I had to call the Collin County Dems to make sure my regular polling place was going to be the same on March 4th. It's our elementary school, and there's tons of construction going on. The entrance to the regular polling place (the school gym) is virtually impossible to get to. Anyway, the county party office knew what was going on in my precinct and what the arrangements for voting and the caucus were in light of the school's ongoing construction. I'm sure the Dallas County Dem office would be able to tell you the same thing for your precinct.

:hi:

3. You will definitely have a caucus in your county.
Because I'm in it. :)

PM me if you want to chat about it, I'll send you my phone number.

Or just check the front page of the Dallas County Democrats web page:

Sounds to me like your friends are not as well informed as they should be. ;)

4. Keep in mind that many folks know the term as 'precinct meeting' or other similar terms,
as opposed to "caucus." Your "caucus" should be at the site of your precinct's polling place on election day (not necessarily the same place as early voting). At least, that is what my understanding is... it's not by county, but but by precinct.
