Freepology Today (Texas Edition): "I'd rather vote for Hitler"
On friday, Freeper mnehrling invited fellow Freepers to "Freep" a poll on the Longview News-Journal site. The poll asked: "Did you cross over from the GOP to the Democratic Primary in order to affect the Clinton/Obama race?"

The original options for the question were listed in the http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1974653/posts">Free Republic post:
    Yes, I did
No, I'd vote for Hitler first
    I thought about it
    I know someone who did
    I'm a Democrat
When I checked on Friday, 40 people had answered "No, I'd vote for Hitler First," which is further proof of the forbidden love that wingnuts have for fascism over freedom. I was surprised to see that a sizable number of respondents answered "yes, I did." That is currently 49 people (30%) compared with only 18 "I'm a Democrat" answers (11%). This is an unscientific poll, but were that to hold for the general election, we'd see a 5 times increase in Democratic votes. Could Texas be blue again? Only time will tell.

BTW, they changed the second option to read, "No, I wouldn't even consider that," probably to conceal the number of neo-Nazis residing in Longview. The poll is at the bottom of http://www.news-journal.com/news/content/news/index.html">this page.

1. Yes I noticed the change
I was going to say, how could a newspaper get away with such an inflammatory statement on their site? If you have a cache of that original set up try to post that.

2. It's a Cox newspaper
The same people who publish Ted Nugent's column. They are always open to radical right wing ideas.

3. Google has an older page (with a different survey) cached.
Next time I see something that outrageous, I'll get a screen shot!
