So what if you didn't like your choices - there are usually more than one campaign being contested. You don't have to vote for every race on the ballot, just get off your ass and vote.

Let them know: Kinky is bad for Texas and a vote for Kinky is a vote for Perry. Encourage them to vote Gammage, vote Bell, or skip the gubernatorial race to focus on down-ballot races, but tell them not to throw their vote away to help Kinky's Perry-funded ballot drive.

That's the least excusable Republican ticket to vote for in modern history. You've got to be either truly wingnut, brainwashed, or clueless to have voted for Shrub's "re"-election. And yet Kinky seems to be peeling away a lot more D's than R's. I hope more people, especially Democrats and moderate to liberal independents, will take this candidacy seriously and really consider the implications of electing another Shrub supporter as Governor.

I think Henry Cuellar stinks. I thought he stank before the picture. But lots of people like their picture taken with the president. Regardless of who the president is. Sheila Jackson Lee usually is on the aisle waiting to greet Bush as well. I don't see anyone lambasting her. She occasionally gets a hug in. I think you make too much of the association of pictures. It's what you don't see that usually matters. Like who is telling Bush what to say via the hidden earpiece. Silliness. All of it.
