No place or time yet, but John Edwards will be visiting us for a fundraiser on Feb. 9th and all the money raised will go to the county party for the coordinated campaign in the fall! So mark your calendars, folks, because we're going to rock and roll!

He's a very good speaker. And right now with his call for filibustering Alito, he's got my attention. Sure wish we was back in the Senate making that call.

From the DCDP roundup:

Former Senator, 2004 Vice-Presidential candidate, and likely 2008 candidate for the Democratic Presidential nomination John Edwards may be visiting Dallas soon. A February trip was possible, though now April looks more likely. Whenever he does appear, we will post the news on our website and send out info in the Roundup as soon as the dates are confirmed. If it's a last-minute trip, we'll even put out a special bulletin. We will of course do the same for other Democrats contemplating a Presidential race that come to town, whether Bayh, Biden, Clark, Clinton, Feingold, Kerry, Richardson, Warner, or anyone else. (As always, this offer does not extend to totalitarians claiming to be Democrats so that they can get matching federal tax dollars, like Lyndon LaRouche.)
