Wingnut radio: Send panties to legislators who voted for HB 3
73 Pantywaisted Texas House members voted to approve HB3 on Monday night, March 13. HB3 hits small businesses and regular citizens with new and increased taxes The Republicans have charge of the Texas Legislature for the first time in a century and they voted for a HUGE NEW tax!! What are they thinking??!!

I am asking all citizens to send the Republicans (and Dems too if you want) who voted for the tax a pair of PANTIES since they proved they are sissies! (You can buy a yellow pair at Walmart for 88 cents.) Send the panties to as many BAD House members that you can afford to.

All House members (especially Republicans who voted for the tax) deserve the panties!! Let them know you think they wimped out by sending them a new selection of underwear!!! REMEMBER, THESE PEOPLE GET THE PANTIES!!!

I guess I'm evil, but for some reason whenever people are upset with Tom Craddick my day seems just a little nicer.

2. Maybe the wingnuts should pay attention to the party breakdown.
Maybe they can figure out who'son their side. Hint: NOT the Republicans.

Oh and Edwards...you, sir, deserve a primary challenge.

5. Love the license plate
Where did you find it? Or is it your own creation?

6. There's a web site.
I think it's the Acme License Plate Creator. You can make your own with the various original looking backgrounds.

I chose this plate since I was born in 1968 and was raised in San Antonio. :-)

If we don't want to send panties to these scalawags, what should we send them? I can't believe we're staring at a junk-food tax so that wealthy homeowners can pay less property tax...

7. There was a reason Edwards voted yes...
I spoke to him this afternoon and reported on it at http://www.houstondemocrats.com/archives/2005/03/representative.html.

The bottom line is when HB3 goes to conference committee, it will only include representatives who voted for the bill, and we need at least one Democrat on that committee.

8. It would be a good idea for his office to put out a press release
Explaining that. It might calm down the mob currently gathering with torches and pitchforks.

10. I agree
I'm working on getting the word out in the blogosphere. Greg's Opinion should have something on it shortly, but you're right that his office would do well to act proactively to get the word out. I got the impression that he did get the word out to party officials, but that doesn't helps us peons.

9. I fear he may have done the Repugs a favor
Now they can say the bill has "bipartisan support." And how many average Joes will study the list of legislators who voted for the bill?
