New Megan's Law website -check to see if any sex offenders
live in your town. They don't give out street addresses unless the person is a violent offender. But there are pictures, and you can search by county, zip code, etc.

where you can click on city, county, zip code, name, or alias. See if that works.

9. Ack, we have two.
Edited on Tue Jan-25-05 08:51 PM by miss_american_pie
That was creepy, considering one was an offense against a child.

On edit: double ack, I looked up the other one, and he's one street over from us.

12. 10 in my zip code
That's a lot when you think that even though my zip is shared by one small suburb and half of a large one, 9 out of 10 come from the small suburb.

17. People in Prison Also Show Up on List
People who have been convicted and are in prisons or state hospitals show up in the zip codes for the locations of the prisons or state hospitals. That is why, for example, Norristown has so many - because they have a State Hospital and a County Prison.
