Don't forget to Vote for Jim Eisenhower for Attorney General
This is a crucial race. The repugs have held the office since 1981 when it became an elected Attorney General. The repugs have turned the office into a joke-big press for the AG but little substance-look at the elected Attorneys General in the past-Preate-convicted felon, Fisher not wanting to run the office but merely to run for Govenor (now a Bush judge on the federal appeals bench) and now Pappert who is a Fisher clone-all hat no cattle-also the office is a patronage mill for the repugs-lets get integrity and good government back to that office-Vote Democratic for AG!!!

3. Don't forget to vote a straight Democratic ticket.
Period. It's a wartime election. They have declared war on us. I've been voting nearly a straight-party ticket since Gingrich*, and I will continue to do so until (1) they start running some reasonable candidates, and (2) their candidates start telling the national party to screw themselves. Yeah, it's sure not happening in Texas any time soon, but I'd do the same if I were back in the Northeast.

*I voted libertarian in the 1996 WV gubernatorial election, after the dem basically came out against my employer, a state university's medical system. Her 1992 run as an (I) against the (D) released me, in my mind, from loyalty arguments. In 2000 I voted against a county council candidate who beat up his 12-year old kid in the local bowling alley.

4. While I strongly agree with the statement this is the State
forum and I wanted to point out how badly 24 years of straight repug control of this office looks like-this present admin in power in the AG's office also was one of the LAST STATES to file in the tobacco litigation (never met a corporation they didn't like)-we have a candidate with ethics running for this office and I wanted to cheer loudly because "help is on the way"!
