PA 11: Anti-Immigrant Barletta Announces Another Run Against Incumbent Dem. Kanjorski
Edited on Wed Dec-09-09 03:46 PM by JPZenger
Barletta almost defeated Kanjorski in 2008 in a Democratic year in a Democratic district. This year, Kanjorski has a Dem. challenger in the primary, a county commissioner. The ironic thing is that this district, compared to most of the US, has relatively few illegal immigrants (although they are clustered in a few towns).

In 2008, Kanjorski was damaged by allegations that he exercised favoritism towards family members in directing government funding.
