Sen. Wyden says he will vote to confirm Roberts
How disappointed I am with Wyden. I don't understand the logic in this vote. www.kgw.com

2. This shouldn't be such a big surprise. The Dem's
have joined the dark side in selling us down the river.

4. I am NOT surprised . Have always thought he was one of
the greedy ones. His voting record says it. Wrote to tell him he is a fake. I will not vote for him again. He is letting us down too often.

8. I confess to not paying that much attention to politics until 2000.
I remember Wyden in the early 1970s when he seemed to stand for something. I'm equal parts sad and glad that my kids live in a world where they know not to take anyone at face value.

7. Over half the senate Dems are doing the same
It seems that Roberts' evasiveness and shadey background are not considered disqualifying factors to presiding over the nation's highest court. Perhaps the Democrats will redeem themselves by standing against the next fascist nominee?

9. Doesn't surprise me in the slightest
We're talking about a former grey panther leader who sold out the elderly and voted for the Republican Medicare scam. I mean, what wouldn't a guy like that do.
