Who's more vulnerable: DeWine or Voinovich?
I read today's article about Ohio Dems rebuilding themselves and wondered how vulnerable Ohio's two Republican senators are.

From down here in the deep South I get the impression that Voinovich is more moderate (I believe that the Club for Growth ran ads against him) and he's from the Democratic stronghold of Cleveland. He's not quite as moderate as say PA's Arlen Specter, but he's definitely one of the more leftist Republicans.

DeWine on the other hand, I don't know much about. I'm pretty sure he's a more conservative breed, but not as far right as PA's real nutcase Rick Santorum, and therefore I'd guess he's vulnerable to a challenge from someone like Ted Strickland, correct?

1. Today it is Voinovich
His term ends this year. He is the better of the two, but not by much.

Do you have a link to the article?

2. Both are swine.
I consider neither to be a Republican or Democrat. They pick and choose and waffle on every issue. They are total fucktards and deserve no respect. I would respect them more if they just acted like Rethuglicans, because I'd at least know they stood for something. The way they hold their fingers to the wind to decide which way to vote is repulsive. They have no moral fiber.

4. George Voinovich is an utterly worthless excuse for a Senator
Since he traded the Ohio governorship for his Senate seat, we've neither heard or seen much of the guy. Period. As I've mentioned before, even DeWine opens his trap once in awhile, as if to let us know that he's still alive. Voinovich seems happy enough to collect his Senate check, benefits, and whatever else he gets from rubber-stamping the GOP-sponsored legislation that crosses his desk.

I don't have any more love for Mike DeWine, though. He's more conservative than Voinovich, which is the key word for "full speed backwards" in a state that's fast becoming the Mississippi of the Midwest.

They've both got to go.
