Anyone interested in starting a filibuster in Columbus OH?
I'll be traveling throughout the state this week so I can't take the lead on something like this but I'd sure schedule some time if someone can set it up! See the link below.


Come to the Democracy Cell Project and spend 5 minutes a day on democracy. If we're not willing to do this, then we can no longer blame the "ignorant" people who know nothing about this. WE MUST BE THE MEDIA or we have to admit that we're to blame as well.

1. the college dems at ohio state did a fillibuster
3 days long, in front of the student union. they camped out, and had someone speaking every minute for the 3 days leading up to the vote

i've been off campus for the weekend, and havent gotten over there, so i dunno :shrug: (i'm not very active in the campus dems... yeah, i know, but I am focused more on the ACLU and amnesty international)

7. Here is a link
to the "filibusterFrist" website page containing info on state by state filibusters.

The Ohio State one started May 17, it's unclear if it is ongoing.
