BBC News is reporting that the polls in Ohio will stay open an extra hour

If you are in line.....you will get to vote. If it takes until 9:00 as long as you were in line at 7:30 you will vote.

5. I think their source is misinformed

I have heard nothing to that effect and I was at a precinct about an hour ago and talked to an official, about turnout. No mention was made of keeping the polls open past 7:30. I think that would create a logistical nightmare this late in the day.

8. Columbus DUers -- Are Polls Still Open?

Thought I read on one of the national boards that due to a lack of booths, some places in Columbus would be open until 9:30. For the life of me, I can't find the thread. If this is true, Ohio won't be called tonight.

Can anyone shed light on this?

before 7:00 p.m. they will stay open until everyone in the building has voted.
