1. Just started yesterday
We are doing 10% of the vote total and if the totals do not match
then 100% of the vote gets counted.

Pryce has 1,000 vote lead. We still have 3,000 provisional ballots
not counted .... Kilroy was getting 70% of the Prov. ballots.

Fun fact Pryce never got over 44% in any poll but on election day
she pulled 51%?

2. You know my opinion and experience on the ground on this
deliberate poll worker mis-information forcing people to vote provisionally even though they should not have.

Keep us posted.

3. I don't know if this is true or not but I was told that on the day
before the election the repugs held a "training session" for republican
poll workers @ the athletic club downtown Columbus.

And yes many many people were forced to vote provisionally that
should not have had to.

We just need a clean count of all the legit votes.

BTW Pryce still stands a good chance of still "winning" but
the repugs better enjoy this one because w/ Brunner in
@ Sec. of State big changes are on the way.

4. What did NOT help at all were the pre-marked poll books
indicating they HAD to vote provisionally. This was done BEFORE the court compromise, and even with lawyers shoving Franklin County BOE MEMOS up their ass they STILL Made them vote provisionally.

Don't forget, don't EVER forget, the 70+ year old african american woman, who dressed for church to vote, who had been voting at South High school since she was ALLWED by law to vote, who went "missing" from the poll books. I know I won't....I could not tell her why I thought she was not on the books, but I had my ideas...no way did I have the heart to share them with her.

This lady is one of mine:

Watch closely and you will see my hubby walk past in the background...he came to see exactly what I did, and he was appalled by what he saw...understand that back in the day, South High School was where HE and his FATHER and his MOTHER went to school.

5. The notice she was talking about was sent out by the BOE
and if it stayed in their mailbox it was then returned to the BOE
and then the voter was red flagged and forced to vote provisionally.

It is a backhand way of voter suppression ..... under Ohio law if you
voted in the prior election you should still be eligible to vote.

I hope she followed up to the BOE and made sure her vote was counted
her husband should have voted too.

This practice is known as caging.

One thing I picked up on in November was people were told to vote
(by calls) to vote @ the wrong location .... they had to vote provisionally
and those votes were supposed to have been thrown out.

We only have 3,000 provisional votes not counted so in Franklin County ....
but still I bet you that the vast majority of those votes were dem votes.
If the normal figures flow (70% for Kilroy) Mary Jo would get 2100 votes
and Pryce would get 900 votes.

6. well, ive not heard the term caging before and damn it, if they dont
always find a way to pervert the system whether it's outright suppression or intimidation and now, the threat of litigation.

just makes you want to go out and shake them.

This is the legacy of "Justice" Renquist and chief law enforcement officer-while-he-was John Ashcroft. They are so convinced the other side is evil, they and those like them believe that anything they do to beat (down) the "enemy" is justified.

And then you have the mutation wanna-be powermongers like Blackwell who stop at nothing including prostituting themselves for what he thinks is due him and his cronies. Fuck all of them. I despise them all.

7. Focus on what we won. And we won big across the country.
Jennifer Brunner as Sec. of State is big.
Marc Dann as Attorney General is big.

Both are going to try to preserve the data from 04
and when the truth is so big and so out front then
all will know.

I know it is VERY HARD not to be bitter and to give into hate
and depression ..... hell I saw "it" being stolen in 04 in front
of me and every time I saw bush on t.v. or some talking head
telling me how bush won I wanted to scream.

about caging .... RFK Jr's Rolling Stone Article explains it all.

http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/10432334/was_the_2004_election_stolen

BTW Mary Jo & company are still fighting.
