Ohio now officially has a " Nurse Democratic Caucus"

Yes folks, our Ohio Democratic Chairman, the Great Chris Redfern, has apporoved our newly founded Nurse Democratic Caucus. As one of the founders, I am proud to say our mission has only just begun!

“The Ohio Democratic Party is proud to support the newly formed Democratic Nurses Caucus. Nurses around Ohio are on the front lines providing patient care and medical assistance to the people of our state and should be commended for their commitment to Ohio’s families. Nurses and health care professionals also understand that we are a state in crisis with more than two million Ohioans without insurance and millions more lacking sufficient coverage. That is why we are so proud to have a Democratic Caucus of Nurses who understand that our Democratic candidates are the ones standing up for affordable health care for all of us, not just some of us. Working together to promote the issues important to Ohioans, the Nurses Caucus will be an important part of our Democratic team in 2006 and beyond.”

5. We passed out the announcement email to the group.

Carol Roe and I do our best to send these things out. The web site is almost done which will be a platform for such announcements.

I have to work at the hospital that night so I won't be able to make it. I pick-up extra a couple days a month. I use the money for campaign donations. :)
