Looking for a veterinarian in the NYC area, preferably Brooklyn.

My daughter's cat became very ill last week with a Liver (?) problem. He's a 7 year old, neutered indoor kitty.

Long story short....the vet helped my daughter go through her savings and maxed out her credit card (so far $2000), and she still has a sick little furbaby, now home with a feeding tube and elizabethan collar, as she's out $$$$.

I'd like to help her out with a second opinion that I will pay for, and thought I'd start here since I know several DUers in the NYC area and possibly get a good recommendation !?

1. Where in Brooklyn is she?

I took my dog to a veterinarian in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, when he had a urinary tract infection, and they were terrific.
