running for office? Is that for real? Because if it is... he's a arrogant punk... think Schwartzenegger but dumber.

1. His politics aside...he's mourning the death of his son
who died at 8 years of age the other day.

Lay off for a while.

2. Hard to defeat in some ways if he does.. but reality will out.
Erie and Buffalo have been screwed left and right and center for a very very long time now by both Dems and Repubs alike.
Right now this area is looking for leadership (which Jim seems to have to some people), but they are really looking for non corrupt, very smart, honest individuals.

I dare say CA stands as a good example of what not to do in a regional financial crisis. Electing someone who has almost zero political knowledge and aside from running his own charity no real financial underpinnings, is not the way to bring your county back from bankruptcy. I think people will understand that.

Unless he runs under the Libertarian ticket, which is gaining some steam in Buffalo as everyone is really fed up with the corrupt local politicos on both sides of the aisle.

In the meantime he just lost his son to a really nasty disease. So even though I know he has been a total knob at times in the past.. right now I just feel for his loss.
