In case you don't get MoveOn emails:

Does local U.S. Representative Jon Porter support preserving Social Security? Or does Jon Porter support privatizing it and slashing benefits for middle-class families? It is time for Jon Porter to come clean with constituents and take a stand on this important issue.

On Friday, June 3rd at 10AM come let Representative Jon Porter know your views on President Bush's Social Security privatization plan. What would Bush's huge cut in benefits mean to you and your family?

MoveOn, Americans United To Protect Social Security, and other coalition partners in the Social Security fight have invited Representative Jon Porter to attend a town hall forum in Henderson to take a stand on privatization and hear from local constituents on this critical issue. The media is also being invited. Now is the time to make your voice heard.

WHAT: Town Hall To Discuss The Future Of Social Security, Invited Guest: Representative Jon Porter
WHEN: Friday, June 3rd, 2005 10AM
WHERE: Painters Union Hall, 1701 Whitney Mesa Drive
Henderson, NV 89014
Please help us gather petition signatures at this event and in your community against President Bush's Social Security privatization plan.

Thanks for all you do.
