Nelson smacking around Ricketts on National Sales Tax

just heard a clip on the radio. "Pete Ricketts wants a national sales tax that will add 30% to the price of gas. My opponent says if you don't want to pay the tax, just don't buy food or gas or clothes."

IMO, Pete Ricketts is way over the top even for this state. If Ben will challenge him on his extreme RW economic ideas, they're not going to fly with a vast majority of Nebraskans. Now if he would only up the ante and say most experts feel the tax rate would need to be at least 50%.
