3000 gather for Dump Bush rally in Missoula, Montana
Well-known writers, loquacious professors, local actors, artists, musicians and activists led a crowd of 3,000-some people in a revival-like frenzy of liberalism in Caras Park along the banks of the Clark Fork River.

A cadre of drummers announced the gathering with a giant "Dump Bush" sign and called people to the park with their rhythmic pounding and slow march along the river east from the University of Montana, across the Higgins Avenue Bridge and west to the rally in the heart of downtown.

...

Cars traveling across the bridge honked in support as the musicians and their followers made their way over the river to Caras Park, where an ever-swelling crowd greeted them with cheers.

5. Montana's no hell
it bounces back and forth from blue to red quite often.
We vote most often for what we feel is the best candidate rather than party lines. I've always felt Montanans make very intelligent choices on the ballot compared to many other states.
