Protest against Scalia in Warrensburg on Tues
Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia will be in Warrensburg, MO on Tuesday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 5. (Follow link for details.)

http://www.ucmo.edu/scalia/

An hour before his public presentation on Tuesday a local student organization for peace will be assembling on the UCM quad to protest the arrival of this justice. Most of us here can guess why. (Look who it is-that should answer everything.)

Anyway, anyone in the area of Warrensburg on Tuesday is welcome to join in, if they so choose. They will be assembling at 6:30 pm, per a flyer I saw today.

I will try to check the flyer for email info or a contact number tomorrow and will post at that time, if anyone is interested.

3. I attended
and could not find anyone at the appointed location. I showed up with my child and five other friends.

There had been a rumor that a few in student activities were angry with the idea of the protest. Supposedly all mention of the protest was supposed to be removed from the campus and any involved would be charged with trespassing.

I suspect that kept quite a few students away.
