Subject: Funding Opportunity

Dear Colleague:

I would like to inform you that Operation REACH, Inc. has issued an RFP
to local parks and recreation entities and youth serving agencies to
facilitate the launch of the National Demonstration of the Gulfsouth Youth
Action Corps (GYAC). The GYAC expansion is funded through the Corporation
for National and Community Service AmeriCorps Grant. The purpose of the
National Demonstration Project is to replicate the GYAC model, add
capacity to agencies and enhance youth programs in the region.

We will provide funding to partnering agencies in the following
states: Alabama , Florida , Georgia , Louisiana , Mississippi and Texas .
Please help us to disseminate this RFP to your local network and listserv.
To learn more about the program you can visit the website at .

I have attached the RFP. Please note that letters of intent are due by
the close of business on December 7, 2007.

Special Assistant to CEO
Operation REACH,Inc
Office Phone: 504-208-4704

I can't attach the .pdf file I was sent with this email, but you could always contact Ms. Lopez and ask her to send it to you.
