Minnesota Healthcare Rally!
Edited on Sun Sep-13-09 01:42 AM by fulllib
I went to Obama's speech today and took some pictures:

Prett good crowd outfront before. There were a few protesters from each side:
<a href="http://s738.photobucket.com/albums/xx29/mcfullerton/?action=view¤t=140.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
src="" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Obama on the Jumbotron (too far awa to get a shot on the stage):

This is my six-year-old daughter reacting when Obama walked into the Target Center:

Here is the daughter of a Teabagger:
src="" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
She argued with a woman about Communism, and clearly didn't know what she was talking about.

If you watched the speech, you saw Obama talking to a man on his right and referred to him as his biggest fan. He was talking to this guy:

These folks were singing a song about Single Payer:

Teabagger sign with typical poor grammar:
src="" border="0" alt="Typical Freeper"></a>

My wife and daughter reacting to Teabaggers:

These guys were making fun of the Teabagging protestors:

src="" border="0" alt="Freeper- mocker!"></a>

Thanks!

5. great pictures. Star Tribune had such an inaccurate report
I was there also. The paper said that their was around 200 anti-Obama protesters.. more like maybe 30.

also said that Obama team had mega phones.

it was the Single Payer group that had the megaphones. There was about 20-30 of Pro Single payer, anti-war. etc. type supporters who were there with signs/posters/flyers. Many of them didn't even go inside because many have given up on the Democrats.

Mike Kaszub of the Star Tribune really needs to go back to journalism school.
