Minnesota state court questions
Is the top state court called "The Minnesota Supreme Court"?

If so, is it liberal or conservative?

1. The Minnesota Supreme Court is the top appellate court.
The intermediate appellate court is called the Court of Appeals. Many years ago I was a law clerk for the MN Supreme Court, and my impression at least at the time was that they were pretty middle of the road. The new Chief Justice is a nice guy, very smart. Even though he was appointed by Pawlenty, I think he will be fair with respect to the recount if the courts get involved.

2. I agree, he has been very good on
the board that appointed judges. Very non-partisan. I know quite a few dems appointed to the district court by non-dem governors.
