Obama surprises breakfast crowd in St. Paul ~ STRIB August 7 - 2008
Edited on Thu Aug-07-08 08:55 PM by mzmolly
Thanks to my friend "Eleanor Roosebelt" for this information. :hi:

"Obama ordered pancakes, signed menus and greeted patrons at the Copper Dome restaurant in St. Paul near the corner of Hamline and Randolph avenues early today before departing from town. Managers of the long-time St. Paul landmark said they were told only minutes before that Obama and his entourage would be arriving."

1. Obama gives me hope. I havent felt this way in years.
If he is elected I actually feel like my kids will be able to play outside with their kids without having to use oxygen masks.

3. How cool!
Very nice for the gang at the Copper Dome. I had breakfast there a few months ago and thought the staff there did a wonderful job. I hope they got pictures of them with the next president.

5. That was an old "hang out" for my husband and I for breakfast many moons ago.
He, like Obama enjoys the pancakes. ;)

4. My three year old son got to see him there!
There's a picture of my son standing behind Obama on the Strib gallery.

I'm so jealous - I was at work.
