Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak announced the visit at a Capitol news conference Monday morning. Rybak - who heads Obama's Minnesota campaign - said he expects the event to draw thousands.

The location has yet to be announced.

3. Update: It's free to the public, but you should get free tickets anyway
for priority seating. Get it emailed online or get it from a campaign office.

I got my ticket. Oh this is going to be freaking huge. I'll have to take the light rail up from Bloomington. If anyone finds out when Obama will actually show up, post it here. Doors open at 1:30.

4. He should come on Friday so the Wolves can sign him to a 10 day contract.
He would be an improvement on the current roster.

6. Sold out in hours! WOOT!`
AA radio said Minnesota holds the record for political rallies with 35,000 for Kerry. It's like 20,000 for Obama on Saturday. I hope to be a part of that. If I like what I see I will volunteer for his campaign. I hope to be a part of putting a Dem in the White House. I want to make history.
