Anyone else go to the Edwards apperance yesterday?

wooohoooo! i was just enabled to post new topics & this is my first!

i went to the event yesterday in maple grove & what a great showing!!! pioneer press estimated the crowed at 8,000- 10,000!!! not everyone could fit in the gym!!! i saw edwards in rosemount in aug and not even close to that amt of people.

its building...this movement to oust bush & elect kerry is getting larger and larger!!!

2. He will be Oregon Wednesday

In Medford, specificially. Now, will he be speaking during the debate?Bush follows him the next day...uncustomarily, Bush will spend the night in Jacksonville (very small town - beware Jacksonville) like his father did before, and go fishing on the Rogue, like his father did before. Oregon receives it's ballots (not polling places, all mail in) on Thursday, or thereabouts. Bush is doing a lot of fishing lately.

Kerry's turnout was double that of Cheney in same venue. Hoping for a great turnout in Medford, Oregon for Edwards on Wednesday!

I was there and Edwards rocked! Great speech, great crowd. The long lines the and the wait to get in didn't even phase anyone. I know I certainly didn't care. I was there to see our next VP and nothing was going to stop me! :bounce:

Yes, the movement is definitely growing. What a weekend! I saw Kerry's daughters on Saturday and Edwards on Sunday. Gee, what am I going to do to top that next weekend? (Besides volunteering at KE headquarters of course.)

And just as I expected... 2 minutes into Edwards speech the clapping and yelling turned into a very unhappy 2 year old.

I can tell him when he's older that he saw the Vice President before he was elected!
