Michele Bachmann's Year in Review

State Senator Michele Bachmann recently proclaimed herself the front-runner in the GOP race for Minnesota's 6th Congressional District. But is Michele really ready for prime time? Take a look at Bachmann's record of accomplishments in 2005 and judge for yourself whether you want her representing you in Washington:

1. Y'know, I hope she does get the Rep endorsement

Conservative as the 6th is, Bachmann's too batshit crazy to carry the district. We might pick up yet another seat in the house that way.

2. Be careful what you ask for

They said the same thing about Jesse Ventura (who's looking pretty good compared to Pawlenty O' Fees right now). You don't let someone as batshit crazy as Bachmann get anywhere near a higher office, no matter how beatable you think she is. Besides, if it's a choice between anti-gay, pro-gun, anti-choice Tinklenburg or Bachmann, why wouldn't those voters go for the real deal--Bachmann--instead of Tinklenberg's Republican Lite?

3. She is way crazy...

But she could win in the sixth I fear. Whom ever wins the gop nod will probably win.

Tinklenberg is not as far to the right as I was once worried. Granted Mortensen was by far the better man for the job ET is a good second choice.
