The new Interstate Hwy. 394 toll lanes will re-open to general traffic in off peak hours (in the section west of Hwy. 100) beginning Thursday.

Lt. Gov. Carol Molnau, the state‚s transportation commissioner, announced the change Wednesday in the fourth week of the nationally watched traffic experiment.

1. Nothing like removing the incentive for carpooling
I am glad to know that there was less demand for the transponder than they thought!

HOV = High occupancy vehicle, and those lanes should be kept as HOV lanes. Period.
