G4G talking points for 09/29
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 (39 Days until Victory 2006)

Governor Granholm yesterday announced the states first Renewable Energy Renaissance Zone in Adrian, a development that will create new jobs at a $10 million biodiesel fuel plant.

Governor Granholm's comprehensive economic plan will create 10 tax-free Renewable Energy Renaissance Zones to diversify our economy by encouraging growth of alternative energy companies.

The Republican Governors Association (RGA) introduced a new, deceptive television ad attacking Governor Granholm and ignoring the mess she inherited and the comprehensive economic plan that she has set in motion.
Earlier this week, DeVos jumped on the lobbying reform bandwagon. Now, hes getting help from an organization, the RGA, that accepted money from Jack Abramoffs lobbying partners. And dont forget, Dick DeVos lobbied for the unfair trade policies that are hurting Michigan workers.
A new poll yesterday showed Governor Granholm with a 49.9% - 40.8% lead the Governor is in great position, but that means that DeVos is likely preparing some even nastier attacks.
