Here's how Dick DeVos and Amway 'censor' criticism of their wrongdoings
It's similar to the right wing's model for silencing liberal voices: Jam the bookshelves with tripe like Ann Coulter's venom spews, in order to drown out the sensible voices.

To silence criticism on the internet, Amway/Quixtar/Dick DeVos have taken to "google bombing" in order to help prevent critical writings on the internet from appearing in google search results. They did so by setting up an elaborate web of phoney "blogs" that all linked to each other, and ultimately pushed all the critical web sites down to the bottom of the search results list.

"Companies such as Quixtar are using Google-bombing, link farms and Web spam pages to place positive sites in the top search results -- which pushes the negative ones down."

"To put it simply, Quixtar enlisted various people to help create dozens of Weblogs that linked to each other and were filled with positive stories and key words. The idea is to help put these newer blogs at the top of search results for phrases such as "Quixtar success" and "Quixtar opportunity," while more critical sites such as Quixtar Blog and Amquix.info would drop down. "

"...Janssen started online forums on his site so people on both sides could discuss Quixtar, and he started to cultivate inside sources. He uncovered scoop after scoop, including extensive information on Quixtar's Web Initiative, including "adoration blogs," "character assassination blogs" and even fake news outlets such as eSource-News.com. Janssen connected the dots to Margaret S. Ross, one of the writers on eSource-News.com who specializes in "Web Reputation" and was hired to help lead Quixtar's Web Initiative."

"...you know that it's deceitful... ...It's not about providing a great information resource that will be the #1 site on the Web. It's about flooding the Web with crap, and in that sewage, going to bury everyone else."

Dick, Dick, Dick, Dick, Dick. - The people of Michigan WANT and DESERVE an honest Governor. Since you and your company are working to silence your many many critics, do YOU feel that you are an honest person? Will you turn to the character assassination tactics of your right wing friends who work on Presidential campaigns, in order to silence your critics, or will you just continue to drown out their voices and hope that their criticisms aren't heard?

Here's my advice to the Devos family: If you don't want to be criticized, then why don't you start a company that ISN'T a pyramid scheme?

Why don't you start a company where your distributors actually MAKE MONEY, instead of a company where nearly 80% of your products get bought by the distributors, and are never sold to retail buyers, and where the top 1% end up making all the money? (sound familiar?)
