From Progressive Talk in Boston: Help fill the van for Katrina victims

Want to help the families affected by Hurricane Katrina?

We have made arrangements with a trucking company and a bunch of volunteers to accept donations in our parking lot this Saturday and Sunday from 9-6pm. Once the 18 wheeler truck is full, it will make its way to LaFayette, LA and The American Red Cross will distribute the items.

They are looking for the following:
Non-perishable food
Suitcases
New undergarments
Clothing (especially larger sizes)
diapers for adults and children
toiletries
Bouncy Chairs for kids
Car Seats for kids
Toys for kids
People can bring their donations on Saturday and Sunday from 9am until 6pm ONLY.
