Brockton poll workers hope to see after-work rush of voters

BROCKTON —

Attention voters in precinct 2D: Polling Warden Dog Halley wants to see you before 8 p.m. tonight.

Halley reported that as of 3 p.m., there were 245 people who cast votes at the War Memorial Building at 156 West Elm St. in today's election for mayor, city council and School Committee.

"It's slow," he said. "It's a little bit busier than the primary, but less than normal," he said.

He said he hopes to see 200 more people by the end of the day.

I was the 51st person to vote at my polling place today just before 8:00 AM.

Vote!
