I'm up to my neck in Mitt and family. I don't give a darn about him, wife, family, money, education, preaching, any of it.

I do care however about the treatment of his dog. If you did that horrible thing once, you'd do it again, given the circumstances. It shows a selfish, uncaring man.

I bet the horrible treatment of his dog is a major "letter to the editor" topic, starting tomorrow.

1. Nope. Today's installment was only part 5 of 7.
Tomorrow's puff piece covers Mittens as Governor.

2. I swear that if it wasn't for the editorial page, I'd cancel the
Globe. Geeze, whats left, the Herald? Nope! and I don't like the CSM either. Guess if this Romney thing goes much longer, I'll have to start reading....ahh...geeze, it appears we don't have many choices here. Our North Shore paper is just a rehash of the Globe.

3. The Globe is Mittens' Personal PR Firm
Did you read the scathing letters to the editor in the Globe today? If they printed only three they must've gotten hundreds saying the same thing!

5. After the front page, I go directly to that section. Saw the letters
and agreed with every one. In fact, tomorrow I think I'll send them a little missive of my own.

4. So...
Everyone start writing angry letters to the globe. Honestly, if you don't like it, tell them. If they don't listen, cancel the subscription. There's always other papers, even online if you choose to go that route.

6. I didn't read it. How did he treat his dog?

7. Others have since posted the story here too, but the short version
is that he strapped his dog in a carrier on top of his family wagon and drove to Canada from Boston for a vacation. For that poor animal to spend 12 hours on top of a car is inexcusable. The poor dog was so frightened that he went to the bathroom in his crate. Mittens stopped at a gas station, hosed diarrhea off dog and car then proceeded on his merry way.

He will find it hard to explain away that cruelty. What is wrong with dog in car, luggage on roof?

8. If it weren't for the part about the dog on the roof of the car . . .
and the brown streaks on the car and car windows, I think I would have fallen asleep reading this inexcusable crap (ooops, pardon the pun) written by the Boston Globe! It read like a sixth grade attempt at serious biography writing.

I did, however, feel a sense of humor about the brown streaks on Romney's car and that it interrupted Romney's penchant for exactness and precision and need-to-control but certainly not the inexcusable treatment by Romney of the family dog, Sheamus. Yes, the part about the family dog tells a tad bit more about Romney than Romney's need to control his environment wants to reveal to the public.

Uuummm, maybe the Boston Globe wrote that part into its story knowing this?
